Glucosyl-vitexin
CAS:Glucosyl-vitexin is a pharmacologically active compound that is structurally related to the flavonoid vitexin. This compound has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the production of collagen and lipids in cultured bovine aortic endothelial cells. This activity may be due to its ability to bind with cell membranes, interact with reactive oxygen species, or inhibit the expression of genes involved in collagen synthesis. Glucosyl-vitexin also has an inhibitory effect on blood pressure and has been shown to reduce blood pressure in humans who are not taking any other drugs for hypertension. The pharmacological mechanism of this drug is unknown, but it may be due to its inhibition of cyclooxygenase enzymes or inhibition of angiotensin II receptors.Purity:Min. 95%Ref: 3D-FG74227
