2-(2,5-Dichloropyrimidin-4-ylamino)-N-methylbenzamide is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme kinase. It has been shown to be effective against cancer cells and can inhibit the activity of the enzyme protein kinase in vitro. 2-(2,5-Dichloropyrimidin-4-ylamino)-N-methylbenzamide inhibits the activity of protein kinases by binding to ATP and preventing its conversion into ADP. This results in a depletion of energy sources and inhibition of cell proliferation.
