CAS:2-Fluorophenylacetylene is a fluorine-containing molecule with the chemical formula C6H5CHF2. It is a colorless liquid that is soluble in organic solvents, but insoluble in water. 2-Fluorophenylacetylene has been shown to react with selenium compounds to form selenides and tellurides. The reaction of 2-fluorophenylacetylene with water produces hydrogen fluoride and phenol. The synthesis of this compound requires an efficient method for the preparation of 2-fluorophenylacetylene from ethyne. This method is based on the use of homogeneous catalysts, such as copper(I) bromide, potassium bromide, or sodium borohydride. In addition, 2-fluorophenylacetylene has vibrational and optical properties that make it useful in spectroscopy.Formula:C8H5FPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:120.12 g/molRef: 3D-FF29049
