CAS:3-fluoro-4-nitro-1-oxidopyridin-1-ium is the pyridine analog of 3,4-difluoronitrobenzene. It is a pharmaceutical that has been used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis. This drug inhibits the production of myelin and promotes remyelination by inducing oligodendrocyte precursor cells to differentiate into mature oligodendrocytes.
