2-(Methylamino)benzaldehyde
CAS:2-(Methylamino)benzaldehyde is a molecule that has been shown to be an effective radioprotector and chemopreventative agent. It has been shown to inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species, which are involved in the initiation of tumorigenesis and cancer. 2-(Methylamino)benzaldehyde prevents the polymerization of DNA by reacting with the hydrochloric acid, forming benzimidazole compounds that are then excreted through urine. These compounds have also been shown to inhibit hyaluronic acid synthesis and chondroitin sulfate synthesis, which may play a role in preventing radiation-induced damage. 2-(Methylamino)benzaldehyde may also act as a caspase inhibitor by inhibiting the activation of these enzymes, which are involved in apoptosis.Formula:C8H9NOPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:135.16 g/mol2-(Methylamino)benzaldehyde
