5-Phenyl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-amine
CAS:5-Phenyl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-amine is a trifluoromethylated and fluorinated analog of oxadiazole. It has been shown to have hydrolysis and condensation properties, which can be used to target a variety of enzymes. In particular, 5-phenyl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-amine binds to the active site of the enzyme protein kinase C (PKC) by hydrophobic interactions. The PKC is an enzyme that plays a key role in the production of proteins involved in inflammatory responses. The PKC enzyme complex is activated by the binding of calcium ions and this activation leads to an increase in phosphorylation events. This causes the cells to become more sensitive to inflammatory stimuli. 5-phenyl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-amine has been shown to inhibit PKC activity by interfering with calcium ionFormula:C8H7N3OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:161.16 g/mol5-Phenyl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-amine
