Dibutyltin Maleate (so called) [for PVC stabilizer]
CAS:Formula:C12H20O4SnColor and Shape:Light yellow to Yellow to Orange clear liquidMolecular weight:347.00Dibutyltin maleate
CAS:Dibutyltin maleate is a diphenyl ether that has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of cationic polymerization. It can also act as a reactive crosslinker for polymers, such as polyvinyl chloride and fatty acids. Dibutyltin maleate is used in the production of polymeric matrixes, which are used in the manufacture of paints, coatings, and adhesives. In animal experiments, dibutyltin maleate has been shown to increase locomotor activity. This compound has no effect on calcium stearate or hydroxyl groups. It is not soluble in water but is soluble in organic solvents such as benzene and chloroform. The structure of dibutyltin maleate consists of two boron nitride molecules linked by a single nitrogen atom. The other two nitrogen atoms are connected to a carbonyl group and hydroxybenzoic acid group respectively. DibutyltPurity:Min. 95%2,2-Dibutyl-1,3,2-dioxastannepine-4,7-dione
