Pentadecylmagnesium Bromide, 15% in Tetrahydrofuran, is a synthetic chemical compound with a molecular weight of 303.06g/mol. This organic solvent is used as an additive to prevent the formation of ice in fuel tanks and pipelines during winter months. It can also be used in the synthesis of fatty acids and asymmetric molecules. This chemical has been shown to be a good material for transistors because it has a high electron mobility when applied to germanium semiconductors.
