CAS:2,4-Difluorophenylacetic acid is a nucleophilic compound that is hydrolyzed by esterases to 2,4-difluoroaniline. It has a high affinity for serotonin receptors in rat brain and can be used as a pseudopeptide radiotracer for serotonin uptake studies. It also blocks the uptake of 5-HT2A receptor agonists and prevents the binding of these drugs to the 5-HT2A receptor.
