CAS:Bis(2,6-dimethylphenyl) Chlorophosphate is a transition metal chlorinating agent that can be used to synthesize sulfamoyl chloride and deuterated chlorides. It is also a Bronsted nucleophile that has been shown to react with anilines. Bis(2,6-dimethylphenyl) Chlorophosphate reacts with elemental sulfur to form bis(2,6-dimethylphenyl)sulfide. This reaction produces an ion-pair of the sulfonium salt and bisulfite anion. The substitution at the para position of the phenyl ring on Bis(2,6-dimethylphenyl) Chlorophosphate influences its ability to act as a nucleophile and this can be demonstrated by observing the breakpoint in sulfur.Formula:C16H18ClO3PPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:324.74 g/mol
