CAS:Controlled ProductJWH-210 is a synthetic cannabinoid that is used in the United States as an analytical method to identify wastewater samples containing synthetic cannabinoids. It can be detected at concentrations of 10 parts per billion (ppb) or higher. JWH-210 has been found in wastewater, urine samples, and cell culture supernatants. JWH-210 is typically prepared by mixing biphenyl with ammonium formate in a round bottom flask. The mixture is heated to produce biphenyl diol and phenol. The biphenyl diol reacts with hydrochloric acid to produce the desired product, JWH-210. This reaction has a runtime of approximately 3 hours, depending on the amount of biphenyl and ammonium formate used. JWH-210 can be detected using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) methods that employ ultraviolet detection (UV).Formula:C26H27NOPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:369.5 g/mol
