CAS:2-Amino-6-bromopurine is a cancer drug that is currently undergoing clinical trials for the treatment of prostate cancer. This drug has shown to be effective in treating prostate cancer cells that are resistant to castration, which are not sensitive to this hormone. 2-Amino-6-bromopurine inhibits DNA polymerase, leading to apoptosis in prostate cancer cells.
