CAS:2,3,6,7,10,11-Hexabromotriphenylene is a mesomorphic monolayer with a donor-acceptor structure. It can be used to make magnetic resonance spectroscopy devices that can detect picric acid and an electron-deficient coupling agent for the synthesis of methyl ketones. The chloride groups on the hexabromotriphenylene are electron deficient and can react with a palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction to produce methyl ketones. This compound also has potential use in making x-ray structures and is one of the sixfold magnetic resonance active triphenylenes.Formula:C18H6Br6Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:701.66 g/molTriphenylene, 2,3,6,7,10,11-hexabromo-
