Anthracene-9,10-dipropionic acid disodium salt is a fluorescent compound that is used as a probe in chromatographic and bioanalytical applications. Anthracene-9,10-dipropionic acid disodium salt is also an insensitive photosensitizer that can be activated by irradiation with UV light.
