CAS:6-Amino-2-naphtholmethanesulfonic acid (ANPS) is a chemical compound that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of certain pharmaceuticals. It is prepared by reacting hydroxylamine with sodium hydrogen carbonate and imino, which leads to the formation of mesylate. This reaction system can be carried out at room temperature and does not require a catalyst. The reaction between ANPS and copper chloride yields a sulfoxide, which can be methylated to yield an ester hydrochloride. The product can then be coagulated or further reacted with sodium hydrogen carbonate to yield the desired 6-amino-2-naphtholmethanesulfonic acid sodium salt.Formula:C11H10N2OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:186.21 g/molRef: 3D-FA143848
