CAS:Diphenylcarbamyl chloride is a hydrogen-bond inhibitor that binds to the viral envelope protein, interfering with its function. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of certain viruses, including influenza virus and herpes simplex virus. Diphenylcarbamyl chloride also inhibits the enzyme trypsin in soybean extracts, which may be due to its ability to form a hydrogen bond with the hydroxyl group on tyrosine. This drug inhibits the synthesis of proteins in cells by binding to phospholipids on the cell membrane and blocking the passage of amino acids into the cells. The optimum pH for diphenylcarbamyl chloride is between 7 and 8, and it is soluble in water or organic solvents. Diphenylcarbamyl chloride can be synthesized from phosphorus pentoxide and phenylamine.Formula:C13H10ClNOPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:231.68 g/molRef: 3D-FD10529
