3-(Methylamino)pyrrolidine
CAS:3-(Methylamino)pyrrolidine is a prodrug that is converted to the active form, triamino-3-(methylamino)pyrrolidine (TAP), in vivo. 3-(Methylamino)pyrrolidine has been shown to be potent inhibitor of the enzymes triamino-deaminase and aminopeptidase N. 3-(Methylamino)pyrrolidine also inhibits the production of nitric oxide by macrophages, which may be due to its inhibition of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase. This drug has also shown efficacy in vivo against a number of bacterial strains, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).Formula:C5H12N2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:100.16 g/mol
