Cyclohexyl Butyl Phthalate-d4
CAS:Cyclohexyl Butyl Phthalate-d4 (CBP-D4) is a metabolite of the phthalate ester group. It is used as a research tool for genotoxicity studies, and has been shown to cause DNA damage in animal cells. The CBP-D4 binds to receptors on liver cells and inhibits the production of p21 protein, which is necessary for cell cycle progression. This inhibition leads to increased levels of p27, which promotes cell growth. CBP-D4 was also found to cause oxidative damage when combined with zirconium oxide (ZrO2).Formula:C18H20D4O4Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:308.41 g/molPhthalic acid, butylcyclohexyl ester
