Quinclorac
CAS:Applications Quinclorac is a disubstituted quinolinecarboxylic acid that is part of a new class of highly selective auxin herbicides. Quinclorac is used in rice to control dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds, particularly barnyardgrass (Echinochloa crus-galli). Quinclorac is also used for weed control in turfgrasses. CAS:3,7-Dichloro-8-quinolinecarboxylic acid (3,7-DCQA) is a herbicide that inhibits the growth of plants by interfering with photosynthesis. 3,7-DCQA is an inhibitor of carotenoid biosynthesis and competitively inhibits the activity of enzymes in the chlorophyll synthesis pathway. This herbicide has been shown to be toxic to animals and humans at high doses. The effects on animals are observed primarily as changes in food consumption, weight gain, and hematological parameters. The no-observed adverse effect level for chronic toxicity in rats is 500 mg/kg/day.Purity:Min. 95%Ref: 3D-FD44000
