CAS:Erdosteine (RV 144), a mucolytic thiol, modulates mucus and aids expectoration, reduces cough, and protects lungs from smoke damage.Formula:C8H11NO4S2Purity:99.43% - 99.94%Color and Shape:White Or Almost White Crystalline PowderMolecular weight:249.31Erdosteine
CAS:Erdosteine is a reactive molecule that is generated in the reaction solution and has been shown to have pro-apoptotic properties. It has been shown to protect against oxidative injury as it can react with reactive oxygen species, such as peroxynitrite, by converting them into less harmful molecules. Erdosteine also protects against neuronal death induced by 3-nitropropionic acid, which is a neurotoxin that inhibits mitochondrial respiratory chain complex I. Erdosteine may be used for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. The side-effect profiles of erdosteine are not well understood and more research needs to be done in order to determine if this drug could be used therapeutically.Formula:C8H11NO4S2Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:249.31 g/molErdosteine-d4
