Lenalidomide hemihydrate

Lenalidomide is a drug that is used in the treatment of multiple myeloma, a type of cancer that affects the blood cells. Lenalidomide has been shown to be effective in treating the symptoms of multiple myeloma and in preventing relapse. It works by stimulating cell immunity and regulating regulatory T cells. Lenalidomide also has immunomodulatory properties, which results in an increase in natural killer cells, macrophages, and other white blood cells. This drug has a safety profile that is similar to other drugs used for the treatment of cancer and it does not seem to adversely affect fertility or increase the risk of birth defects.
