CAS:3,5-Difluoro-4-formylphenylboronic acid (3,5-DFBP) is a polymerase inhibitor that inhibits the enzyme polymerase. The long incubation time of 3,5-DFBP makes it ideal for detection of bacteria in complex matrices such as food samples. 3,5-DFBP is used to inhibit bacterial growth and to detect the presence of bacteria.
