CAS:3-(Hydroxymethyl)phenylboronic acid (3HMBBA) is an analog of 3-hydroxymethylphenylboronic acid. It has been used in the Suzuki coupling reaction to produce a number of biologically important compounds, such as beta-lactamase inhibitors. This compound also inhibits the activity of human liver cancer cells and human liver tissue in vitro.
