It has been shown to be active against copper oxide and copper chloride inorganic fungicides, which makes it an effective fungicide for the control of potato blight. 2-Methoxy-6-methylaminopyridine has been shown to have a synergistic effect when combined with copper sulfate and copper hydroxide.
