CAS:4-Trifluoromethylpyridin-2-ylhydrazine is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C6H4F3N2. The compound has two forms, depending on the temperature, one of which is a white crystalline solid and the other of which is an orange liquid at room temperature. 4-Trifluoromethylpyridin-2-ylhydrazine can be used as a matrix in spectroscopy experiments. It also undergoes photolysis to produce nitrene molecules, which are molecules composed of an electron pair plus a nitrogen atom. Nitrenes can be used in mixtures to synthesize other molecules, or they can be studied by themselves using spectroscopy. UV irradiation causes 4-trifluoromethylpyridin-2-ylhydrazine to absorb light and emit light at longer wavelengths, making it useful for uv photochemical experiments.Formula:C6H6F3N3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:177.13 g/molRef: 3D-FT104992
