  • Poloxamer 182

    Poloxamer 182 is a non-ionic surfactant that contains dodecyl groups. It has been shown to be an antimicrobial agent and a glycol ether. The anti-bacterial activity of poloxamer 182 is attributed to the benzalkonium chloride, which binds to the bacterial cell membrane and causes depolarization.
