CAS:8-Chloro-3-(2-fluorophenyl)-5,6-dihydrofuro[3,2-f]-1,2-benzisoxazole-6-carboxylic acid potassium salt (8CF) is a monolayer that has been shown to be a potent diuretic in rat hepatocytes. 8CF is able to inhibit the transport of chloride ions across the plasma membrane and increase their excretion in urine. This activity has been demonstrated in rat hepatocytes and human urine samples. The potential use of 8CF as a diuretic drug has been investigated using a cross-over study design with healthy volunteers. 8CF was found to be safe, well tolerated and had no adverse effects on renal function. 8CF also showed promising pharmacokinetic properties for dosing in humans with stable blood pressure.Formula:C16H8ClFKNO4Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:371.79 g/mol
