2,4-Dichloro-5-thiazolecarboxaldehyde
CAS:2,4-Dichloro-5-thiazolecarboxaldehyde is an anticancer agent that belongs to the group of antimicrobial agents. It is a chlorinated derivative of 2,4-dichloro-5-nitrobenzaldehyde and has been shown to have strong activity against cancer cells in vitro. This compound also inhibits bacterial growth by binding to DNA, preventing transcription and replication. The biological properties of 2,4-Dichloro-5-thiazolecarboxaldehyde are similar to those of other nucleophilic compounds with chlorine atoms in their structures.
