N-Nitrosoacetanilide
CAS:Carbon tetrachloride and chlorobenzene are shown to be the most reactive halides with nitroacetanilide. Carbon tetrachloride reacts with N-nitrosoacetanilide to form a radical chain reaction which leads to the formation of chlorobenzene, peroxide, and thiourea. The latter then hydrolyzes to form thioacetic acid and styrene. Nitroacetanilide can also react with acetone in a similar way, forming N-nitrosopropionaldehyde.Formula:C8H8N2O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:164.16 g/molN-Nitroso Acetanilide
CAS:Controlled ProductApplications N-Nitroso Acetanilide is a synthesis intermediate, a nitric oxide-donor, and an oxidizer in radical processes. References Li, X., et al.: J. Chem.
