CAS:Diphenylguanidine hydrobromide is a high melting solid with an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 1 micron. It is soluble in organic solvents, such as vinyl ether and carboxylic acids, but insoluble in water. Diphenylguanidine hydrobromide has a constant diameter of 1.5 microns when dispersed into particles that are less than 10 microns in size. The solubility of this compound increases as the hydroxyl group content increases and the number of carboxylic acid groups decreases. This solid polymerizes in the presence of an intermetallic and high-melting metal such as aluminum or magnesium, forming a multilayer structure with high binding strength. Diphenylguanidine hydrobromide is used as a binder for polymeric powders, especially those containing polyester resins or polyurethane resins, due to its excellent film-forming properties andFormula:C13H13N3BrHPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:292.17 g/molRef: 3D-FD40114
