R 7128
CAS:R 7128 is a potent inhibitor of HIV-1 protease. It has been shown to inhibit viral replication in tissue culture and primary cells infected with HIV-1. R 7128 may also be an effective therapeutic agent for the treatment of hepatitis B or C because it inhibits the production of virions and reduces the number of infected cells. This drug is a prodrug that is orally active and must undergo metabolism before becoming active. The mechanism of action for R 7128 is not yet known, but it may be due to its ability to inhibit viral life cycle stages, such as protease activity or protein synthesis.Formula:C18H26FN3O6Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:399.41 g/mol(2'R)- 2'-Deoxy-2'-fluoro-2'-methylcytidine 3',5'-bis(2-methylpropanoate)
