(3S)-3-Fluoro-L-asparagine
CAS:3-Fluoro-L-asparagine (3S-3FA) is a nonessential amino acid that is synthesized from aspartic acid and pyruvic acid. It can also be converted to L-asparaginase by hydrolysis of the ester bond. 3S-3FA has been shown to inhibit protein synthesis in leukemia cells, which may be due to its effects on cellular metabolism. 3S-3FA has also been shown to have antileukemia activity in a model system, an analog of prohormone, and oligosaccharides. This compound has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties that may be due to its ability to inhibit protein glycosylation in mammalian cells.Formula:C4H7FN2O3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:150.11 g/mol
