Oxolamine
CAS:Oxolamine is a microcapsule formulation of the anticoagulant heparin. Heparin is a natural polysaccharide that inhibits the formation of blood clots. Oxolamine is administered by injection and is used to prevent or treat deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and other conditions associated with coagulation disorders. It has been shown that the drug has an anticoagulant effect in Sprague-Dawley rats with autoimmune diseases and inflammatory bowel disease. The drug also has proteolytic activity, which may be responsible for its water-vapor-producing effects. Oxolamine has not been approved for use as a pharmaceutical dosage form; however, it can be obtained through prescription as a treatment for bowel disease.Formula:C14H19N3OPurity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:245.32 g/molOxolamine
