    Norkurarinone is a natural compound that inhibits the growth of bacteria. It has been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory mediators, such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes, in vitro. In addition, norkurarinone has been shown to have protective effects against oxidative stress and some metabolic disorders.
