6-Bromo-5-nitroquinoline
CAS:6-Bromo-5-nitroquinoline is a synthetic compound, which has been shown to induce apoptosis in cancer cells. It has been reported that 6BQN induces cell death by the activation of caspases and the formation of reactive oxygen species. This compound also inhibits the growth of cervical cancer cells by inducing morpholine-induced apoptosis. The cytotoxic effects of this drug were found to be mediated through DNA damage and inhibition of protein synthesis. 6BQN is active against human adenocarcinoma cells, but not against normal human lung fibroblasts.Formula:C9H5BrN2O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:253.05 g/molRef: 3D-FB150927
