CAS:Tetrakis(dimethylamino)ethylene is a molecule that contains a benzyl group and four nitrogen atoms. It has been shown to be an excellent cell marker, which can be used as a nuclear dye in electron microscopy. Tetrakis(dimethylamino)ethylene has also been used in kinetic studies of the transfer reactions of fatty acids. The molecule is synthesized by reacting phosphorus pentoxide with light emission and thermal decomposition of hydroxyl groups. Tetrakis(dimethylamino)ethylene is shown to ionize easily, making it an ideal candidate for structural analysis. The activation energies for the reaction have been found to be between 24-25 kcal/mol.Formula:C10H24N4Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:Colorless PowderMolecular weight:200.32 g/molN1,N1,N’1,N’1,N2,N2,N’2,N’2-Octamethylethene-1,1,2,2-Tetraamine
