CAS:Tropenol hydrochloride is a tropane alkaloid that is chemically related to atropine, scopolamine, and hyoscyamine. It is used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease, urinary incontinence, and other conditions. Tropenol hydrochloride inhibits the neurotransmitter acetylcholine by blocking its action at muscarinic receptors, thereby decreasing muscular contractions. This drug also has an anticholinergic effect on skeletal muscle, reducing the production of acetylcholine. Tropenol hydrochloride has been shown to be effective as a dopamine receptor agonist and as an inhibitor of dopamine-beta-hydroxylase activity.Formula:C8H13NO·HClPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:175.66 g/mol
