CAS:3-(N-Tosyl-L-alaninyloxy)-5-phenylpyrrole is a chiral, enantiomeric compound that has shown to be useful for the detection of human urine. The optical activity of 3-(N-Tosyl-L-alaninyloxy)-5-phenylpyrrole is detectable in the range of 0.05 mg/L to 100 mg/L and can be analyzed using a variety of techniques, including colorimetric assays. 3-(N-Tosyl-L-alaninyloxy)-5-phenylpyrrole has been found to be sensitive enough to detect urine samples with as little as 10 µg/mL concentration.
