It has been shown to be resistant to the enzyme plasmin and proteolytic activity, which may be due to its coagulation properties. This compound also interacts with a number of proteins, including albumin, fibrinogen, and haemoglobin. Dichroism analysis has been used to study the interaction between H-Leu-Ser-p-nitro-Phe-Nle-Ala-Leu OMe trifluoroacetate salt and C2H5OH micelles. The results show that this compound is not soluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as acetone or ethanol.
