Beschreibung:
Methanol, auch bekannt als Methanol, ist ein einfaches Alkohol mit der chemischen Formel CH₃OH und der CAS-Nummer 67-56-1. Es ist eine farblose, flüchtige Flüssigkeit mit einem leicht süßlichen Geruch und ist hochgradig wasserlöslich. Methanol hat einen niedrigen Siedepunkt und einen hohen Dampfdruck, was es zu einer brennbaren Substanz macht, die explosive Gemische mit Luft bilden kann.
