Beschreibung:1,3-Butanediol dimethacrylate is a synthetic polymer that is used in water treatment for the removal of organic pollutants. It can be used as a cross-linking agent in polymers and coatings. 1,3-Butanediol Dimethacrylate (BDMA) has been shown to have genotoxic effects and can form reactive compounds with amines. BDMA polymerizes by a free radical mechanism at elevated temperatures and is sensitive to hydrolysis.
