Beschreibung:(S)-(+)-DBD-PY-NCS is a chiral derivatizing agent that can be used to determine the enantiomeric composition of d-homoserine by fluorescence. It reacts with d-homoserine to form a fluorescent product, which can be detected using mass spectrometry. The reaction is linear over a wide range of concentrations and has a detection sensitivity of less than 1pmol. This derivatizing agent has been validated for use in human serum samples, as well as in other biological fluids such as urine and cerebrospinal fluid. (S)-(+)-DBD-PY-NCS is stable under acidic conditions and is not affected by the presence of endogenous amines or amino acids.
