Ácido ortobórico, también conocido como ácido bórico, es un ácido débil con la fórmula química H₃BO₃. Aparece como un sólido cristalino incoloro o un polvo blanco y es soluble en agua, formando una solución ligeramente ácida. Ácido ortobórico se caracteriza por su baja toxicidad y se utiliza a menudo en diversas aplicaciones, incluyendo como antiséptico, insecticida y regulador de pH.
