Descripción:
(Bis(difenilfosfino)etano)dicloro níquel, comúnmente conocido como NiCl2(dppeth), es un compuesto de coordinación que presenta níquel en un estado de oxidación +2 coordinado a dos ligandos de difenilfosfinoetano y dos iones de cloruro. Este compuesto típicamente exhibe una geometría cuadrada plana debido a la configuración electrónica d8 del níquel, que es característica de muchos complejos de níquel(II). Los ligandos de difenilfosfinoetano contribuyen a la estabilidad y solubilidad general del complejo en disolventes orgánicos.
