1,2-Bis(difenilfosfino)etano, comúnmente conocido como DPPE, es un ligando bidentado ampliamente utilizado en química de coordinación y catálisis. Presenta dos grupos difenilfosfino unidos a un esqueleto central de etano, lo que le permite quelar eficazmente iones metálicos. DPPE se caracteriza por su capacidad para estabilizar varios metales de transición, mejorando su reactividad en procesos catalíticos, particularmente en reacciones de hidrogenación y acilo cruzado.
