Celecoxib es un fármaco antiinflamatorio no esteroideo (AINE) utilizado principalmente para el tratamiento del dolor y la inflamación asociados con condiciones como la artritis. Inhibe selectivamente la enzima ciclooxigenasa-2 (COX-2), que desempeña un papel clave en el proceso inflamatorio, reduciendo así la producción de prostaglandinas que median el dolor y la inflamación.
