2-Chloro-N-(2,3-dimethylphenyl)benzamide is a hydrogen-bonded compound with benzoyl chains and an amide group. It has a crystal structure that contains dihedral angles with alternating planes of symmetry. The compound is highly soluble in water and decomposes at 250 degrees Celsius. 2-Chloro-N-(2,3-dimethylphenyl)benzamide also has antihistamine properties and can be used as a fungicide.
