CAS 3147-14-6: Calmagita

CAS:Calmagite is a drug that contains iron and calcium, which is used to treat iron-deficiency anemia. Calmagite binds to the iron in transferrin and ferritin, preventing their binding with other molecules. This prevents the release of iron from these proteins and the subsequent breakdown of hemoglobin. Calmagite also has been shown to reduce levels of plasma lactate dehydrogenase, which is indicative of improved liver function. The mechanism of calmagite's action is not yet fully understood. It may be due to its ability to prevent the formation of hydrogen peroxide by catalase or its inhibition of hydroxyl radical production by superoxide dismutase.Fórmula:C17H14N2O5SPureza:Min. 95%Peso molecular:358.37 g/molRef: 3D-FC10740
