  • Etoposide

    CAS:
Etoposide is used as a inhibits DNA synthesis and is very active against cells in the late S and G2 phases of the cell cycle. Etoposide was reported to be used to serum starve Saos-2 M5(p53-/-) cells which were transfected by electroporation with indicated expression plasmids for flag-E2F1 and myc-EBNA3C for selection of colony forming units, thus studying the blocking effect of EBV Nuclear Antigen 3C on E2F1 Mediated Apoptosis Induced by the DNA Damage Response. This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand.
