CAS 50-04-4: Cortisona, 21-acetato

CAS:Producto controladoCortisone acetate is a synthetic corticosteroid, which is a derivative of cortisone, a naturally occurring hormone produced by the adrenal cortex. As a pharmaceutical compound, cortisone acetate acts primarily as an anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive agent. Its mode of action involves the conversion into cortisol, a glucocorticoid, which then interacts with glucocorticoid receptors to modulate the transcription of responsive genes. This process reduces the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and inhibits the function of immune cells, thereby producing an anti-inflammatory effect. Cortisone acetate is utilized in clinical settings to treat a range of conditions characterized by inflammation and immune system hyperactivity. Common applications include the management of arthritis, allergies, and skin disorders, among other conditions where modulation of the body's inflammatory response is advantageous. Additionally, it is used in the treatment of adrenal insufficiency, where it compensates for the lack of endogenous corticosteroid production. By reducing inflammation and modifying immune responses, cortisone acetate plays a crucial role in the therapeutic management of several inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.Fórmula:C23H30O6Pureza:95%MinForma y color:PowderPeso molecular:402.48 g/molCortisone 21-acetate, 98+%
